The Energy Psychotherapy Clinic
is a division of Ellen Gray Psychotherapy and Counseling, PLLC that specializes in the application of energy psychology
techniques such as EFT, Seemorg Matrix chakra work, mindfulness meditation, and training in the use of various
techniques and products for home practice. People who can visit the clinic can work on one problem or a series of
problems, or obtain training and then apply the techniques at home on an ongoing basis. Others who are not near the
location of the clinic can visit the website and learn about and purchase products to use in the privacy of their own
home. For the most part, energy modalities intervene gently at sites on the accupressure meridians to clear
"blockages" caused by emotional traumas, big and small. EFT is a simple effective example of this. Another
type of intervention targets brain wave patterns with special auditory input produced on CDs that can be purchased,
delivered through earphones to increase focus, enhance intuition, promote relaxation or bring about sleep. A third type
of energy work utilizes biofeedback, which is a method of making conscious many unconscious body processes in order
to allow for greater control of these processes. An example of this would be to slow breathing, increase peripheral
blood flow, reduce heart rate, or change galvanic skin response. These varieties of control can be taught through
feedback of auditory and visual signals, often supplied through a computer. There are links on the Energy
Psychotherapy Clinic website (Resources page) to products that can be used on your home computer -- such as the
Healing Rhythms software, or the Journey to the Wild Divine video game -- that teach you to obtain control of these
autonomic body processes to achieve greater relaxation and maximum health. These products for home use can be
particularly useful for people with ADHD and other brain conditions that make it difficult for them to maintain control of
their mental processes like concentration and task completion.

include more resources, so it is a good idea to visit it often to see what may have been added. |

As a Jungian Therapist, in my work with clients, I take to heart the meaning of the word psychotherapy; psyche, in Greek means soul, and the root word of therapy is therapaia, which means to tend or to care for. My work with clients is so often about helping to tend to the needs, the questions, the many facets of soul, of psyche. Caring for and developing an in-depth relationship with soul, your psyche, your Self, and with other souls in your life is at the heart of Jungian therapy.
